July Issue Now Availible

What a crazy month! The sun has pounded down on us - causing everyone to sweat and Gow to be blinded by his hayfever (to our amusement), Michael Jackson passed away (maybe he melted in this heat?), and the games have been coming thick and fast to take our minds off it all.

This issue has us zapping ghosts and ghouls as we review the most anticipated release of the year in Ghostbusters, sticking the middle finger up at gravity with Dejobaan's free-falling “Aaaaa” and trudging through the wastelands with Point Lookout – the latest Fallout DLC.
Even our friends at Omerta got in on the act, finally releasing Version 3 after 2 years of development. To celebrate, we've got a giveaway in the mag to get you started on the road to becoming a top gangster.

In one of the worst decisions probably ever made, we handed all of the minion-controlling based games over to our Drunken Gamer this month. That's right - the drunken, tyrannical, power-tripping gamer got to command minions in Overlord II and an entire city in the Cities XL beta! So he likes a bit of strategy, what could go wrong?...

The result? His reign of terror bled through to the office, and we all work for him out of fear now!

There are plenty of Q&A's here to keep you happy this month too, as we catch up with the guys behind Fairytale Fights, Huxley – mainly to figure out why it's taking so damn long – and even celebrity/top lyricist Scroobius Pip (one half of Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip). Turns out he's as big on games as he is music.
